Maybe you have already heard about this exciting event and you have signed up or are teaching and/or playing at the event. If so, good for you! This event has a fantastic roster of shakuahachi teachers and performers from around the world. It is being held in the brand new state of the art performing arts facilities at NYU.

There is a first time ever concert and panel discussion for women shakuhachi masters.

There are fantastic opportunities for learning, listening and information sharing at all levels.

There are top-level professional concerts every night with a grand finale of concert performances on the last night for both modern and classical styles.


There will be well-known shakuhachi makers at the festival with selected inventory for viewing and for sale.
